Types of sales fees on Shopee
When we do traditional business, we have to pay the cost of space every month, right?
So how much does it cost to sell on shopee now? We have to pay 3 main types of fees:
1. Shopee payment fee
Shopee payment fee is the cost we have to pay to Shopee when there is a successful order transaction (In the “Delivered” section) or the order is refunded to the customer for some reason.
Shopee payment fee is not charged when the customer has not received the goods (Delivery failed)
Shopee payment fee will be deducted directly from the order and transferred to the Shopee Wallet for the seller
From April 1, 2021, Shopee will apply a new Payment Fee for Sellers of 2.2% including the following forms of payment:
- Credit/Debit Card or Credit Card Installment
- Payment on delivery (COD)
- Domestic ATM card (Internet Banking)
Pay with ShopeePay Wallet via:(1) ShopeePay balance
(2) ShopeePay Giro: ShopeePay linked bank account

Payment fee = (Total order + Shipping fee – Promotion applied (if any)) x 2.2%
How to check payment costs on Shopee?
When the buyer receives the goods, then the Shopee payment fee will be deducted from each order before transferring to the Shopee Wallet for the seller.
There are 2 ways to check this cost:
Method 1: On the Merchant Channel: download the Income Report in the Revenue section to see the Payment Fees of multiple orders at the same time in the Transaction Fee column.
Method 2: On Shopee app: go to Me > My Shop > Orders > Order information > Payment information > Payment fee.
2. Shopee Mall booth fixed fee
Flat Fee is a fee for Shopee Mall that is calculated as a percentage of the commission from the sale price of the product when the order is successfully delivered or the order has arisen a return/refund request accepted by Shopee / Seller “Refund money now”
A fixed fee is not charged when the seller has not received the item (order failed)
How to check the Shopee Mall booth fixed fee
Shopee Mall Fixed Fee is deducted directly on each order before the sales amount is credited to Shopee Wallet
Merchants can check the fee charged for the order at the Merchant Channel.
– In the Finance section, continue to select Revenue and view the transaction fee of the order.
– Select View more to view monthly income reports.

3. Shopee service fee
Applies to merchants using Freeship Xtra and Cashback Xtra
Service Fee is the cost of selling on Shopee that Seller pays Shopee when participating in Xtra Coin Cashback Program and Xtra Freeship Free Shipping Package.
The Service Fee will be automatically deducted from the Seller’s account after the order is completed.
